Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

Once you’ve filled out all your information on the home page, I will contact you back to answer any questions or gather all the information required to set up an appointment.

HOW MUCH DOES A TATTOO COST?

I charge an hourly rate of $140 an hour. I also require a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $200 to hold your appointment date. But this deposit will go towards the final price of your tattoo. The total cost of the tattoo will depend on size, detail of the design, and the amount of time required to complete this tattoo.

DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?

I apologize for the inconvenience but I work by appointments only. I do not take walk-ins.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO GET A TATTOO?

You must be at least 18 years of age. It is against South Carolina State law to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent. In accordance to this law, I have a strict No Minors policy. Not only must you be 18, you will also be required to have a valid State or Federal Photo ID. No exceptions.

DOES IT HURT?

Yes, all tattoos hurt! Depending on the area of the body, some areas hurt more or less. But your brain will releases endorphins when you go through pain and your body loves endorphins, so this experience will be a little soothing as well.

HOW LONG DOES A TATTOO TAKE TO HEAL?

It takes two weeks to “heal,” but it takes months for the skin to fully regenerate.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY NEW TATTOO?

Every shop has their own recommended care methods but you will be given after care instructions after you’ve been tattooed.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

I accept Cash, PayPal, Facebook Pay, Venmo, and/or Cash App. I also have an ATM for credit cards. No checks.

DO I NEED TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT IF I DECIDE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

Yes. A $200 deposit is required to make an appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable and will go towards the final price of your tattoo.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY TATTOO?

I recommend that you eat well before you come in and remember to stay hydrated. If you start to feel woozy, have a soda. Sugar will be your best friend in this situation. Being active all day in the summer without drinking any water and then coming to get tattooed on an empty stomach is a sure recipe for passing out.

It’s best not to party the night before as well because alcohol can increase bleeding for up to 24 hours. Blood also dilutes the pigments, affecting both the appearance of your tattoo as well as the healing process. Remember to stay cool and calm, you’re in good hands. There’s nothing to stress over - it’s just a tattoo!
